Christmas Stroll is an outdoor event in which participants may walk freely from business to business in the downtown area. Many decorations and specialty arts and crafts are available for viewing such as Christmas lights and western craft items.
The local historical museum is open for this special evening, although closed during the winter. It is right on the town square.
Hayrides for adults and children are available, as well as roasted hot dogs, chestnuts, marshmallows and plenty of hot chocolate to warm up with. The Grand Finale is a parade of lights and fireworks and live nativity scene.
Plenty of shopping at all businesses downtown, many Christmas items and discounts, and hearing campfire stories make this a special event.
Christmas Stroll is located in downtown Broadus; follow Highway 212 into Broadus, then take Park Avenue to courthouse square. Park and walk.
