Custer Country In Focus

It’s November and that means Thanksgiving and the opportunity to give thanks for everything we have.  We also need to remember that lots of folks aren’t as lucky, whether they live down the street from you or on the other side of the world.  Keeping this in mind, I urge all of you to contribute what you can to a local food bank, shelter or thrift store.  Donations to these organizations can make a huge difference in someone’s life.

November also marks the time of year when many communities have craft fairs.  It’s a lot of fun to attend these events and see some of the original arts and crafts the creative folks in Custer Country have to sell.  It’s a great opportunity to own a unique piece of art to keep or to send to your out-of-state friends or relatives.  Check out the calendar on our website at www.CusterCountry.com to find a craft show or bazaar in the region.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving.  And if you’re traveling for the holiday, drive safely.
